The default for 3D
Manus makes 3D models with Tripo P1 by default. In games, this is Fast mode, which uses about 3x fewer credits than Quality mode.
Tripo Smart Mesh P1.0, also called Tripo P1.0 and shown in Manus as Tripo P1, is the default 3D model in Manus. In games, it is Fast mode. Describe a prop or character and get a low-poly GLB model that you can rig and animate in the same task.
Why Tripo P1
Manus makes 3D models with Tripo P1 by default. In games, this is Fast mode, which uses about 3x fewer credits than Quality mode.
Tripo P1 builds the model in about 20 seconds. Textures and saving add time. That is several times faster than Manus's old low-poly setup with Tripo v3.1.
Ask Manus to rig a character and add motions like walk or idle. A character with a rig and one animation takes about 2 to 3 minutes in Fast mode.
A closer look
Every model below was made with Tripo P1 in Manus, and each video is rendered from the GLB file. Each card shows the prompt it started from.
Tripo P1 made the farmer. In the same task, Manus rigged it and added a walk animation.
Prompt
Use Tripo P1 to make a low-poly 3D model of a friendly cartoon farmer for my game: short hair, a straw hat, a plaid shirt, blue overalls, and rubber boots, standing in an A-pose with empty hands. Then rig it and add a walk animation.
Ask for several props at once. Manus builds them at the same time, each as its own GLB file.
Prompt
Use Tripo P1 to make three low-poly 3D props for my farm game: a wooden barrel with iron bands, a wooden crate full of carrots, and a round hay bale. Make each one a separate GLB model.
This windmill came out at about 1,900 faces. The video shows its mesh lines on top of the textures.
Prompt
Use Tripo P1 to make a low-poly 3D model with up to 2,000 faces: a small cartoon windmill with a stone base, a wooden top, and four sails, for a farm game.
Manus rigged this sheep as a four-legged animal and added a walk animation.
Prompt
Use Tripo P1 to make a low-poly 3D model of a cartoon sheep for my farm game: fluffy white wool, a black face and legs, standing on all four legs. Then rig it and add a walk animation.

How it works
01
Use the box on this page, where Tripo P1 is already set. Manus also uses Tripo P1 by default, so in any task you can just describe what you want.
02
Say what you want and what game it is for. For a character, Manus already asks for an A-pose or T-pose, because that pose helps rigging.
03
Ask Manus to rig a character and add motions in the same task. Download the GLB file. Rigged and animated characters can also be exported as FBX.
Choose the right model
Fast mode uses Tripo P1. It suits prototypes, many enemies and props, quick changes, and tight budgets. It gives less detail and less control over the look.
Tripo
A high-detail model that Manus uses when you ask for it by name. Manus used to make game models with it in low-poly mode.
OpenAI
Quality mode uses it to draw a reference image, then builds the 3D model from that image with Tripo P2.
Quality mode draws a reference image first, then builds the model with Tripo P2. Use it for hero characters, close-ups, a consistent art style, and thumbnail shots. It uses more credits and more time.
Tripo P1, also called Tripo P1.0 or Tripo Smart Mesh P1.0, is a 3D model from Tripo AI built for game assets. It makes low-poly models and is the default 3D model in Manus. Tripo P1 builds the model in about 20 seconds. Textures and saving add time.
Describe the prop or character you want in any Manus task. You do not need a game project. Manus uses Tripo P1 by default, and you can start with "Use Tripo P1" to be sure. In a game project, choose Fast mode.
Yes. Generation, rigging, and animation are three separate tools in Manus, so you can use them in the same task. Rigging supports seven body types: humanoid, four-legged, six-legged, eight-legged, bird, snake, and fish. Humanoids have the largest motion library, with more than 90 presets. Manus can first check whether the model can be rigged and which body type fits. If rigging fails, Manus explains it in the chat and keeps the character as a static model.
Tripo P1 makes GLB files, and every model is saved to your task files for download. Rigged and animated characters can also be exported as FBX, and humanoid rigs can use Mixamo bone names. When you rig a model, keep it as GLB from start to finish. Download your models as GLB or FBX and keep working in Blender or Unity.
In games, Fast mode uses Tripo P1 and Quality mode uses Tripo P2. Fast mode builds low-poly models straight from text and uses about 3x fewer credits. Quality mode draws a reference image first, then builds the model with Tripo P2, so it takes more time and gives more detail.
Each 3D step uses credits. Credit usage depends on the model and settings Manus uses. See pricing
