Get a status answer from ClickUp tasks and Docs
Ask in plain words and get progress, overdue work and blockers, with the tasks and Docs behind each point.
Manus is an independent AI agent that works in ClickUp with your own account. It isn’t ClickUp Brain, ClickUp’s built-in AI: it connects through ClickUp’s official MCP server and only does what your account is allowed to do.
Q4 Launch
Manus searches tasks, lists, folders and ClickUp Docs, then answers with a short summary and the tasks and Docs it used.
Ask in plain words and get progress, overdue work and blockers, with the tasks and Docs behind each point.
Get the exact wording of a past decision and the Doc or task where it was written.
Use Manus as a ClickUp AI agent for planning: it reads a requirements Doc or meeting notes, asks which list to put the tasks in, then creates them and assigns each one by name or email.
1Reads the Doc
2Asks which list
3Creates and assigns
Each task gets a description, a priority and a due date, in the list you pick.
Paste the notes, and each action item becomes a task for the person named, matched by name or email.
Manus reads what changed in your lists and writes a ClickUp standup summary, a weekly report or a ClickUp sprint report, with the done, overdue and blocked counts you’d check on a ClickUp dashboard.
See what got done, what’s overdue and who is blocked, grouped by person.
Get the week’s numbers, highlights and risks as a new Doc in the same Space.
Describe the cleanup in plain words. Manus moves tasks into the right lists and folders, updates statuses and fills in missing descriptions, and it can repeat the job on a schedule.
Check the plan first, then Manus moves each task, updates its status and fills in a missing description.
Turn a prompt into a scheduled task, and the standup is ready before your team meets.
There’s no server address or API key to copy. ClickUp is already in Manus Connectors, and you sign in with your ClickUp account.
What Manus can do in ClickUp
Turn on other connectors in the same task, or run your ClickUp work on a schedule.
Open Connectors in Manus, select ClickUp and sign in with your ClickUp account to approve access. Manus picks up the Workspace you signed in to. After that, mention ClickUp in a task, with a list, Doc or task name if you have one.
It can search and read tasks, comments, lists, folders and Docs. It can create and update tasks, including status, assignees, priority and due dates, move tasks between lists, create lists and folders, and add or edit Doc pages. It can only do what your ClickUp account is allowed to do.
No. That’s ClickUp’s built-in AI, and Super Agents are the ClickUp AI agents that live in your Workspace. Manus is a separate AI agent that connects through ClickUp’s official MCP server and works with your own account, on any ClickUp plan.
When you haven’t named a list, Manus asks which one to use before it creates tasks, instead of guessing. It finds lists and folders by name, so you can simply say where the tasks should go.
Yes. Manus looks up lists and folders by name and reads large Workspaces page by page. ClickUp sets a daily limit on MCP calls that depends on your plan and add-ons, so check ClickUp’s MCP rate limits for your Workspace.
Yes. The ClickUp connector uses ClickUp’s official MCP server at https://mcp.clickup.com/mcp, so you don’t set up a ClickUp MCP server yourself. ClickUp only allows OAuth sign-in for MCP, so there’s no API key to paste.
Yes. Open Connectors in Manus, select ClickUp and choose Disconnect. You can connect again at any time by signing in.
Yes. ClickUp’s official MCP server works with many AI apps, including Claude and ChatGPT. Connecting Manus is a separate sign-in, so you can keep using those apps alongside it.
No. ClickUp has its own connector in Manus, so you don’t need Zapier to reach it. If your team already uses Zapier, you can turn on the Zapier connector in the same task to work in other apps. It has its own page in the links above.
