Form responses to team updates
Google Forms → Slack → Google Sheets
Ask for a trigger, a team message, and a spreadsheet record. Manus can work out the fields and steps; building a recurring Zap through MCP requires eligible workflow access.
Connect the Zapier MCP connector to Manus, then ask Manus to find information and take action across your apps. It works out the steps; Zapier carries out supported actions through the accounts you connect.
Gmail → Google Drive + Google Sheets
Say what should happen, which apps are involved, and what you want to check before anything is sent.

Zapier
Review repeated actions, missing conditions, and failures. Access to live workflow details depends on the tools available to your Zapier account.
Gmail → Google Drive → Airtable
Find the attachment, save it, and log the filename and link. You can ask for these actions now; a workflow that keeps running requires eligible workflow access.
HubSpot → Slack + Gmail
Describe what counts as urgent, who should be notified, and which record should be updated. Review the suggested routes before enabling a recurring workflow.
To build, run, or inspect a persistent Zap through MCP, your Zapier account needs access to Next Gen Zaps. Without it, Manus can still help you plan the steps and use supported actions in connected apps.
Start in a Manus conversation. You do not need to build a Zap for a one-time request.
Open the Zapier card in Manus Connectors and sign in to your Zapier account. This links Manus to its own Zapier MCP server, which is different from adding the Manus app to a Zap.
Zapier integrations cover 8,000+ apps. Connect the accounts you want to use in Zapier; the actions available to Manus depend on those app connections and your account’s tools.
Name the source, what to check, and where the result should go. Manus works through the request and uses Zapier for supported searches and actions.
Manus reads your request and the available app data, decides the next step, and calls a supported Zapier action. You can change the instructions as you go.
Say “only urgent leads” or “make drafts, do not send.” Manus adjusts what it checks and drafts, then uses available Zapier actions to update your connected apps. You see the result in this conversation.
With access to Zapier Next Gen Zaps, describe the trigger and steps in Manus, then test and publish them as a Zapier automation through MCP. After publishing, it runs in Zapier even when this chat is closed. This feature requires eligible early access.
Zapier MCP is Zapier’s version of the Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets AI tools use outside apps. It connects an AI client such as Manus to your Zapier account, so it can search and act in the apps you have connected there while Zapier handles the logins. Each successful action uses two tasks from your Zapier plan. If you used Zapier AI Actions before, Zapier no longer develops or supports it and points users to Zapier MCP instead.
Connect Zapier in Manus and tell Manus what you want to do. It can work through your request, search connected apps, and use supported Zapier actions to send messages, create drafts, or update records. Available actions depend on your connected apps.
Open Connectors in Manus, find Zapier, and select Connect. Sign in to Zapier and make sure the apps you want to use are connected there. Then name the apps and the outcome in a Manus prompt.
ChatGPT and Claude can also connect to Zapier MCP. In Manus, the app actions are one part of a larger task: Manus works on its own virtual computer with internet access and files, so it can research a lead, build a spreadsheet or report, and then use Zapier to update your CRM or send the email, carrying the task through to a finished result. If you already use a ChatGPT Zapier integration or Zapier MCP in Claude, Manus still needs its own connection, because Zapier gives each AI client its own Zapier MCP server. The app accounts you connected in Zapier stay the same.
Zapier Agents is Zapier’s own product for building AI teammates. You set up each agent in Zapier with instructions and company knowledge, and it can work across your apps on command or in the background. With Manus, you do not build an agent first: you describe the job in a conversation, and Manus plans it and uses Zapier MCP for the app steps. Connecting Zapier to Manus does not change any Zapier AI agents you already run.
Zapier MCP can run supported app actions after connection. Creating, testing, publishing, or inspecting live Next Gen Zaps through MCP requires Zapier early access and an eligible account. Without it, Manus can help plan steps or review a workflow you provide, but cannot publish or inspect the live workflow.
Yes. That is the separate Manus app in Zapier: an app event triggers Create Task, and later Zap steps can get the result. The Zapier connector in Manus works in the other direction, letting you ask Manus to use your connected apps.
