AI game maker FAQ

What is an AI game maker?

An AI game maker, also called an AI game creator, builds a playable game from a description. With Manus, you describe the gameplay, setting, and look, and it handles the code, art, and gameplay, then gives you a version you can play in your browser.

How do I make a game without coding?

Describe your idea in everyday language, and Manus builds a first version. Play it, then ask for changes to the rules, visuals, or controls. No coding experience is needed.

What kinds of games can I create?

Create games that run in a browser, from platformers and puzzles to racing, strategy, and adventure games. Describe the gameplay, setting, and visual style you have in mind, or explore the showcases for inspiration.

What should I include in my game idea?

Start with what the player does, how they win, and the look you want. For example: "A colorful platformer where you jump between floating islands and collect stars." You can add more details as you go.

Can I use a showcase game as a starting point?

Yes. Open a showcase, try the game, then choose to build on it. The game is added to the input above, where you can describe your changes. Send your idea when you are ready; you will be asked to sign in if needed.

Can I keep editing after the first version?

Yes. Change speed, gravity, damage, or spawn rate in the tweak panel while you play, or tell Manus what to adjust, such as the difficulty, controls, levels, or visual style. Keep refining it in the same conversation.

Can I make a multiplayer game?

Yes. Describe a game for more than one player, and Manus takes care of the server and deployment so friends can join and play at the same time.

How can I share my game with other players?

Publish your game first, then copy its link or share it to X, Reddit, Facebook, or Discord. Others can play in their browser, and the dashboard shows how many players open it and come back.

Can I make a trailer for my game?

Yes. When your game is done, Manus can suggest turning its assets into a gameplay video. You can also cut your own recordings into a trailer with the AI video editor.
