Turn a brain dump into Todoist tasks
Paste notes, a list or a voice memo transcript. Manus turns each to-do into a task with a due date, a priority from P1 to P4, a label and the right project.
Manus is an independent AI agent that works in Todoist with your own account: it adds and completes tasks, sorts your Inbox into projects and sections, and plans your day. It isn’t Todoist Assist, the AI built into Todoist. It connects through Todoist’s official MCP server.
This Todoist AI integration skips the retyping: Manus reads your notes or an email and adds each to-do to Todoist with a date, a priority, a label and a project. It’s an AI to do list that starts from what you already wrote.
Paste notes, a list or a voice memo transcript. Manus turns each to-do into a task with a due date, a priority from P1 to P4, a label and the right project.
Paste an email, or turn on your Gmail or Outlook connector in the same task, and Manus turns the request into a task with the deadline it mentions.
Todoist AI scheduling without a separate AI task manager app: Manus reads your due dates, priorities and labels, lays out what to do first today and what goes on each day this week. Ask it to show you the plan first, and it moves only the dates you approve.
Manus reads today’s tasks and anything overdue, puts them in the order to do them by time and priority, and points out what won’t fit.
Spread this week’s tasks and your undated P1 and P2 tasks across the weekdays. You see the plan first, then Manus reschedules the tasks you approve.
An AI to do list organizer for the tasks you dropped in the Inbox, and for new projects that need sections and a first task list.
Manus reads each Inbox task, moves it to the project and section it belongs in, and adds a date when the task names one. Anything it isn’t sure about stays put and goes on a list for you.
Name the project and the sections you want. Manus creates them and fills each section with a starter task list you can edit.
Manus goes through overdue tasks and gives one suggestion for each. Ask for the list first, and you approve or skip a short list instead of a wall of red dates. It’s the same short list whether you searched for an “AI task manager ADHD” setup or just had a busy week. A morning summary can run on a schedule, too.
For each overdue or forgotten task, Manus suggests a new date, a merge with a similar task, marking it done or removing the date. This prompt asks it to wait for your OK before changing anything, and recurring tasks get rescheduled, so they keep repeating.
Put the time in your prompt. Manus saves it as a scheduled task, and each run reads your connected Todoist account.
See how scheduled tasks workMost “Todoist MCP Claude” or “Todoist MCP ChatGPT” guides start by adding a server address to that app. In Manus, Todoist is already in Connectors, so your Todoist AI agent is one sign-in away.
In Manus, open Connectors and select Todoist.
Choose Connect, sign in to Todoist and approve access. Todoist gives Manus a token, not your password.
Ask in plain words, and name the project, label or day when you have one.
What Manus can access
Open Connectors in Manus, select Todoist and choose Connect. Sign in to Todoist and approve access on the screen it shows. After that, mention Todoist in a task, for example with a project name or a day.
It can add, complete and reopen tasks, change due dates, priorities and labels, and manage projects and sections. It can also find tasks by date, project, label or text, and look up what you’ve completed. It works with your own Todoist account, so it sees what you can see.
There’s no separate approval step in Todoist: a change applies as soon as Manus makes it. If you want to check first, ask Manus to list the changes and wait for your OK, as the examples on this page do. Ask for that list before any clean-up that deletes tasks, and if a task gets completed by mistake, ask Manus to reopen it.
No. Todoist Assist is what Todoist calls its own built-in AI features, such as Task Assist and Filter Assist, and they’re made by Todoist. Manus is an independent AI agent that works with your Todoist account through the connector, and the same task can also use your files and other connected apps.
Yes. The Todoist connector in Manus uses Todoist’s official MCP server, the Todoist AI MCP endpoint at ai.todoist.net/mcp. You don’t add a server address or copy a token yourself: select Todoist in Connectors and sign in.
Yes. Open Connectors in Manus, select Todoist and choose Disconnect. You can also revoke access in Todoist under Settings > Integrations. You can connect again at any time by signing in.
Yes, when you ask to reschedule. Todoist notes that changing the date of a recurring task can drop its repeat schedule, so say “reschedule this task to Friday” rather than “change the date”.
A managed Todoist account may need its administrator to allow third-party connections first. Ask whoever manages the account to allow the connection, then connect again in Manus.
Yes. Put the schedule in your prompt, for example “Every weekday at 8am, list my Todoist tasks for today and anything overdue.” Manus saves it as a scheduled task, and each run uses your connected Todoist account. You can find it later in Automations.
No. Todoist and Airtable each have their own connector in Manus. Connect both in Connectors and name them in one task, for example “Add a Todoist task for each open request in my Airtable base.” The connectors page linked above lists the other apps you can connect.
