monday.com MCP connector for Manus

Update monday.com boards and report on progress with AI

Manus is an independent AI agent that works in your boards with your own monday.com account. It isn’t part of monday AI, the AI built into monday.com such as monday magic and monday sidekick. It connects through monday.com’s official MCP server and only sees the boards you can open.

monday.com reporting across all your boards

Ask the question you’d otherwise build a monday.com dashboard for. Manus searches your boards and writes a one-page progress report: what’s done, what’s stuck and who owns it.

A monday.com AI agent that turns plans into items

Paste a plan, a brief or meeting notes. Manus creates the items and fills in the status, owner and date columns, so the board is ready to work from.

From a plan to a board your team can work from

Use Manus as your monday AI agent for setup work: one item per task, each with an owner, a status and a due date. Ask it to list the items first if you want to check them.

An AI project manager for your monday.com timeline

Give Manus a start date and a deadline. It sets start and end dates on each item in order, so the plan shows up in your monday.com Gantt and timeline views.

Lay out the dates before work starts

Ask Manus to keep the order of your plan and not give one person two items at the same time. It can list the dates for you to check before it saves them.

Post updates that keep the monday.com workflow moving

Manus writes an update on each item you name: what changed, what’s blocking it and the next step. Your team reads it on the item, where they already look.

Questions about monday.com AI and MCP

How do I connect monday.com to Manus?

Open Connectors in Manus, select monday.com and sign in with your monday.com account to approve access. Then mention monday.com in a task, with a board or item name if you have one. To work with other apps too, turn on more Manus connectors in the same task, such as HubSpot, Gmail or Slack. These are Manus connectors, so you don’t need separate monday.com integrations or a monday.com Zapier zap to pass work between them.

What can Manus read and change in monday.com?

It can search your boards, read items and their updates, create items, change columns such as status, owner and dates, set timelines and post updates. It only works with boards your monday.com account can open, and your admin can limit access to specific workspaces.

Is this the official monday MCP server?

Yes. The monday.com connector in Manus uses monday MCP, the hosted MCP server that monday.com runs itself. You don’t add a server address, install an app from the monday.com marketplace or create an API token. monday MCP is included in every monday.com plan, and your account’s usual API limits apply.

Is Manus part of monday AI?

No. monday AI is the AI that monday.com builds into its own product, from its built-in assistant to the monday.com AI agents you create there. Manus is an independent AI agent: once connected, it works in your boards with your own account from a Manus task.

Does Manus ask before it changes a board?

There’s no separate approval step for monday.com changes. If you want to check first, ask Manus to list the changes and wait for your OK, as the examples on this page do. monday.com also suggests reviewing changes an AI tool proposes before they’re made.

Can Manus work as monday CRM AI for leads and deals?

Yes, on the boards your account can open. Leads, deals and contacts in monday CRM live on boards, so Manus can search them, move a deal to a new stage, assign an owner and log the next step as an update.

Can I get a weekly monday.com report automatically?

Yes. Put the schedule in your prompt, for example “Every Friday at 4pm, write a progress report from my monday.com boards.” Manus saves it as a scheduled task, and each run uses your connected monday.com account. You can find it later in Automations.

Do I need to set up a monday MCP server myself?

No. Guides for “Claude monday.com” or “monday.com ChatGPT” walk you through connecting monday MCP inside those apps. In Manus, there’s no server to set up either: monday.com is already in Connectors, so you sign in once and the task runs in the cloud.

Can I disconnect monday.com from Manus?

Yes. Open Connectors in Manus, select monday.com and choose Disconnect. Your monday.com admin can also turn off access for outside AI tools across the whole account.
