Turn Asana meeting notes into assigned tasks
Paste the notes or attach the file. Manus picks out each action item and creates it in the project and section you name, with the assignee and date from the notes.
Manus is an independent AI agent that works in Asana with your own account: it creates and updates tasks, checks on projects and goals, and writes status reports. It isn’t Asana AI, the assistant built into Asana. It connects through Asana’s official MCP server and only sees what your account can open.
AI for Asana that skips the copy and paste: Manus reads your notes, finds the action items and creates each task with an assignee, a due date and the right project and section.
Paste the notes or attach the file. Manus picks out each action item and creates it in the project and section you name, with the assignee and date from the notes.
Paste an email, or turn on your Gmail or Outlook connector in the same task, and Manus turns the request into a task with a due date.
For Asana reporting, Manus reads the project’s tasks and writes what’s done, what’s overdue, what’s at risk and what comes next.
Ask for a document or a slide deck. Manus can also post a short version back to the project as a status update.
Manus counts tasks by status, assignee or due date and adds the charts to your report.
Manus looks up the Asana goals you name, checks the projects that support them and tells you which goals are slipping and what’s holding them up.
A project management AI agent for the busywork: bulk updates you can check before they go in, and reports that run on a schedule.
Describe the change in one sentence. When you ask for the list first, Manus shows every task it would change and updates assignees, due dates and descriptions after your OK.
No Asana smart workflows or rules to set up: put the time in your prompt and Manus saves it as a scheduled task. Each run uses your connected Asana account.
See how automations workMost “Asana ChatGPT” or “Claude Asana” guides start by adding Asana to that tool. In Manus, Asana is already in Connectors, so there’s no server address or token to copy.
In Manus, open Connectors and select Asana.
Choose Connect, sign in to Asana and authorize access to one workspace.
Ask in plain words, and name the project or paste a task link when you have one.
What Manus can access
Open Connectors in Manus, select Asana and choose Connect. Sign in to Asana, pick the workspace you want to use and authorize access. After that, mention Asana in a task, for example with a project name.
Yes. The Asana connector in Manus uses Asana’s official MCP server, so you don’t set up an Asana MCP server or copy a token yourself. A ChatGPT Asana integration or a Claude connector is added inside those apps. In Manus, you select Asana in Connectors and sign in.
No. AI Studio, AI Teammates and the rest of Asana’s built-in AI are made by Asana. Manus is an independent AI agent that works with your Asana account through the connector, and the same task can also use your files and other connected apps.
It can search and read tasks, projects, portfolios, goals, teams and people. It can create tasks and projects, update tasks, add comments and post project status updates. It only sees what your Asana account can already see.
There’s no separate approval step: Asana applies a change as soon as Manus makes it. If you want to check first, ask Manus to list the changes and wait for your OK, as the examples on this page do. Asana notes that deleting a task this way can’t be undone, so ask for the list before any clean-up.
Yes. Open Connectors in Manus, select Asana and choose Disconnect. You can connect again at any time by signing in.
Your Asana admin may have blocked the app in app management. On Asana Enterprise+ plans, admins can allow or block each MCP client, so ask yours to allow Manus, then connect again.
Yes. Paste the notes, or point Manus to the Asana task where they live. It reads the description and comments, then creates a task for each action item with the assignee and due date from the notes.
Yes. Put the schedule in your prompt, for example “Every Monday at 9am, write a status report for my Asana project.” Manus saves it as a scheduled task, and each run uses your connected Asana account. You can find it later in Automations.
No. Asana has its own connector in Manus, so you don’t need a Zapier zap in between. If you also use Zapier, it has a separate connector, linked above.
