Introducing Manus 2.0

Manus for Creators

Hand Manus the footage, the numbers and the inbox. It cuts the first version in Video Editor, handles the work around it, and you make the final call.

Video Editor and Alchemy mode

Manus makes the first cut in minutes and you keep the final one. Video Editor gives you the timeline, and Alchemy mode directs the pieces where quality matters most.

A real timeline, not a finished MP4

Drop in a folder of raw clips. Manus reviews hours of footage, picks the moments and builds a first cut with every shot, caption, voice-over and song on its own layer.
  • Swap the song or fix one caption without redoing the rest.
  • Edit by hand, or hand it back and Manus works from your edits.
  • Resize for Shorts and mix your own clips with generated ones in one project.

Use my tram shot for clip 3, make the song warmer, and keep my trims.

One idea in, a directed video out

Use it when quality matters most, like a channel trailer or a cold open. Manus takes on the creative direction and works out the story, pacing and visuals, using video and code generation together.
  • Bolder ideas, more polished motion and tighter pacing than a standard generation.
  • Animated titles, maps and stats with tight control over every detail.
  • The result opens in Video Editor, so you can drop in your own footage and fine-tune it.

Make a 45-second channel trailer in Alchemy mode that asks one question and answers it. Leave it on a timeline so I can swap in my best travel clips.

Ideation

Pick your next topic from what already worked

Manus finds the uploads that beat your own channel average, separates the format from the topic, and turns comments into the questions viewers keep asking.

Find the videos in my last 30 uploads that beat my channel average, split each into format and topic, and pitch three ideas with the evidence. I'll pick one.

Only Manus Can Do

Take a video from raw footage to sponsor reply, with every step in one place.

Production

Turn a folder of raw footage into a first cut

Point Manus at a folder of clips. It reviews hours of footage, picks the moments and builds a first cut in Video Editor.

Level the horizon on every clip in Lisbon Day 2. Save copies in a new folder.

Tools

Build the tool your editing software is missing

Ask for the fix you keep doing by hand, like leveling tilted horizons across a day of handheld clips. Manus builds a small tool, runs it on your footage and keeps it for the next shoot.

Review

Run your review checklist on every cut and thumbnail

Save your review rules once as a Skill. Before each upload, Manus watches the cut, marks where the topic, the payoff and the main story start, and checks that the thumbnail promises what the video delivers.

Packaging

Make thumbnails and run the A/B test

Manus makes thumbnail and title options in your channel's layout for new and returning viewers. Once you pick three, it sets up the A/B test in YouTube Studio from your own browser and logs the winner when the test ends.

Production

Run your edit from your phone while you're on the road

With Remote Control and Computer Use, ask your phone to start the next pass or export the final cut. Manus works on your computer at home while the desktop streams to your screen.

Brand Deals

Handle brand inquiries the moment they land

When a sponsor email arrives, Manus researches the brand, checks how its past creator integrations performed and whether your audience fits, then drafts a reply and a media kit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about Manus for creators.

Who is Manus for Creators built for?

Solo creators and small teams of one to five people, plus the editors, producers, channel operators and managers who work with them. The same workflows apply in travel, gaming, food, tech and education.

Does Manus replace my editor or CapCut?

No. Manus makes the first cut and does the work around the edit, from logging footage to answering sponsors. The creative calls stay with you and your editor, and you don't need editing experience to change anything on the timeline.

What's the difference between Video Editor and Alchemy mode?

Video Editor is the timeline. Manus builds a first cut from your footage and you both work on the same project. Alchemy mode runs inside it for when you start from an idea and quality matters most: Manus directs the piece, then you fine-tune it on the timeline. Both run in Manus Desktop on macOS and Windows.

I've only used ChatGPT for ideas. Where do I start?

Pick one job you do every week and copy its prompt from this page. Every example above has one. Change the details to fit your channel and run it. If you'd rather learn with someone, join a live session.

Will Manus post, send or change anything without me?

Not unless you set it up that way. Manus drafts replies, thumbnails, cuts and reports, then waits for your go-ahead before anything reaches YouTube, your inbox or a sponsor.

How does the thumbnail A/B test work?

YouTube runs it. A/B Testing in YouTube Studio splits traffic between up to three titles, thumbnails or both, and keeps the version with the most watch time, usually within two weeks. It works on long-form videos, not Shorts, and only on a computer, so Manus sets it up in your own logged-in browser.

How does Manus read my YouTube analytics?

Give Manus access to YouTube Studio in your own browser and it pulls the numbers itself. You can also drop in an export or keep exports in a shared Google Drive folder.
