Do I need an Instagram business or creator account?
Yes. The connector requires an Instagram professional account, either a creator or a business account. You can connect it from the Connectors tab in your Manus workspace settings.
Do I need to apply for Instagram API or Instagram Graph API access?
No. You do not need to apply for Instagram API access or create a developer app. Add Instagram from the Connectors tab in your Manus workspace settings and sign in with your professional account to give Manus access.
Do I need to set up an Instagram MCP server?
No. Manus connectors are prebuilt MCP integrations, so the Instagram connector works once you sign in. A custom MCP server is only for internal tools or services that have no prebuilt connector.
Can Manus schedule Instagram posts or auto post to Instagram?
Manus can set up a scheduled task to prepare a post, carousel, story or Reel at the time you choose. Publishing is not fully automatic: each post appears as a card for you to confirm, and it goes live only after you confirm it.
