Read and update records
- data.records:read
- Read records from your tables
- data.records:write
- Create or update records
Ask Manus to research and update records, copy numbers from supplier emails into your tables and turn any base into slides or a dashboard you can share. You decide which bases it can read and which it can change.
Nothing to install. The scopes you choose for your token decide what Manus can read and change.
Name the base, the other apps and the result you want. Manus reads the records, does the work and writes the results back.
Manus filters the companies tagged Cold Lead, finds each one’s latest funding round, product launch or news, and writes a one-sentence summary to the Recent Context field. Then it lists the strongest growth signals in the chat.
Manus reads the latest Weekly Stock Report email, pulls the quantities from the attached PDF and updates Current Stock for each item in your inventory base. Items with unusually high variance are flagged in the summary.
Manus calculates total reach, average engagement rate and cost per engagement for each influencer, picks the top three posts and saves a 5-slide wrap-up to Google Drive.
Manus pulls the records you name and builds a live, hosted dashboard for your team or leadership.
Start a request with a time and Manus runs it as a scheduled task, keeping your base current without you.
Airtable uses personal access tokens instead of a sign-in screen, so you decide which bases Manus can read, which it can change and which stay private.
Here’s what I plan to write to the Recent Context field. Approve and I’ll update your base.
With the Airtable connector, Manus works as an Airtable AI agent on the bases you choose. Depending on the scopes you give the token, it can read and search records, create and update records, add comments, and create tables and fields. In the same task it can research companies with Wide Research, read Gmail, build slides and dashboards, and save files to Google Drive.
Open airtable.com/create/tokens and select Create token. Give it a name such as “Manus Integration”, choose the scopes and select which bases it can access. Copy the token, open Connectors in Manus, find Airtable and paste the token to connect. This personal access token is the Airtable API token Manus uses, and you can return to the Developer Hub at any time to add bases, remove access or regenerate it.
Yes. If you only want Manus to pull data and build reports without changing anything, skip the write scopes when you create the token and choose only read scopes such as data.records:read and schema.bases:read.
Yes. When you create the token, you choose which bases it can reach: individual bases, entire workspaces, or all current and future bases. Picking specific bases keeps access tightly scoped, and Manus only works within the bases and scopes you set.
Yes, if you ask it to. Add “ask me before updating any records” to your request, and Manus shows you what it plans to write and waits for your approval before it changes your base.
Yes. The Airtable connector in Manus is built on MCP (Model Context Protocol) and runs on the Manus side, so you don’t need to set up your own Airtable MCP server. Create a personal access token, paste it into the Airtable connector and mention Airtable in your request.
Yes. Manus pulls the records you name and turns them into a live, hosted dashboard you can share with your team or leadership, a slide deck or a document. With Google Drive connected, it can save reports straight to a folder you choose.
Yes. Start your request with a time, such as “Every Monday at 9:00 AM”, and Manus runs it as a scheduled task. The workflow repeats on that schedule and keeps your base current without you starting it each time.
In one task, Manus can combine Airtable with Wide Research to research each record, Gmail to read emails and attachments, Google Drive to save reports or pull reference documents, slides and dashboards for reporting, and scheduled tasks for recurring updates. It only uses connectors you’ve already connected, and no new permissions are granted automatically.
