Turn a topic into this month’s article list
Give a seed topic or a competitor’s URL. Manus pulls keyword ideas and related terms, filters them by difficulty and intent, and writes a plan with one target keyword per article.
Connect your own Ahrefs account and Manus can look up keyword, backlink, competitor, ranking and site audit data in Ahrefs, then turn it into an article list, a fix plan or a report. Requests use the API units on your Ahrefs plan.
Start from a topic or a competitor’s site. Manus reads search volume, keyword difficulty and intent from Ahrefs, keeps the long-tail keywords you can rank for and turns them into this month’s articles.

Compare your site with 2 or 3 competitors and get the Ahrefs content gap: keywords they rank for and you don’t, grouped into ideas for new pages.
Manus finds the sites that share the most keywords with yours, compares positions keyword by keyword and keeps the ones where a competitor is in the top 10 and you don’t rank at all.
See how your referring domains changed over the year, which important links are new and which ones you lost, without exporting a report by hand.
Manus reads your backlinks and referring domains over time, keeps the links from sites with the highest Domain Rating and flags lost ones worth asking back. To check a competitor instead, give their domain.
Manus reads the latest crawl from Ahrefs Site Audit, sorts the issues by how much they hurt and writes a fix note and an owner next to each one.
Errors come first, since they’re what lower your Health Score. Within each level, Manus ranks issues by how many pages they affect, then says what to change and who should do it.
Get ranking changes and estimated traffic from Ahrefs Rank Tracker as a one-page report or slides, and keep the content plan where your team already works.
Manus compares this week’s positions with last week’s, lists the biggest gains and drops with estimated traffic and adds a short note on what changed. Set it up once as a scheduled task.
Connect Notion too and Manus can add this month’s plan to a database, one page per article, with the target keyword, difficulty and due date filled in.
There’s no Ahrefs MCP integration to set up by hand. Ahrefs is already in Manus Connectors: you approve access on Ahrefs’ own screen, and Ahrefs creates the API key for you.
In Manus, open Connectors, find Ahrefs and select Connect.
Sign in to Ahrefs if asked and approve the consent screen. Ahrefs adds a dedicated API key for this connection to your account.
Name a domain, keyword or project and say what you need. Each request uses API units from your Ahrefs plan.
Yes. Manus connects to the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that Ahrefs hosts at api.ahrefs.com/mcp/mcp, which reads your data through the Ahrefs API v3. It’s already in Manus Connectors, so there’s nothing to install or host.
Open Connectors in Manus, find Ahrefs and select Connect. Sign in to Ahrefs if asked and approve the consent screen. This Ahrefs integration needs no setup on your side. Ahrefs’ own guide also shows how to add it as a custom MCP server with an MCP key, which you only need if you want to manage the key yourself.
No. When you approve access, Ahrefs creates a dedicated API key for the connection, tagged with the MCP scope. It has a monthly API unit limit, and workspace admins can change or remove that limit in the API keys report in your Ahrefs account.
Ahrefs MCP is available on paid Ahrefs plans. Each request uses API units from your plan’s monthly allowance, the same way direct Ahrefs API use does. Ahrefs sets which plans include it and their limits, and you can see what you’ve used under Limits and usage in your account settings.
From your Ahrefs account. Search volume, keyword difficulty, backlinks, rankings and audit issues are Ahrefs’ own data, returned by its API. Manus doesn’t make up its own estimates; it sorts, compares and explains the numbers Ahrefs returns.
Yes. Ask for the report once, then set it up as a scheduled task, for example every Monday at 9am. Manus pulls fresh rank tracking or backlink data from Ahrefs each time and sends you the result.
Common Ahrefs MCP use cases in Manus are planning articles from keyword research, finding a content gap against competitors, checking new and lost backlinks, turning a Site Audit crawl into a fix list and sending a weekly rank tracking report. You can ask for the result as a table, a document or slides.
No. Ahrefs’ own AI writing tools and AI Content Helper are Ahrefs products that work inside Ahrefs. Here, Manus is the AI agent: it reads your Ahrefs data through the MCP server and turns it into plans, fix lists and reports. You can keep using Ahrefs’ own tools alongside it.
No. Guides for an “Ahrefs MCP Claude” or “Ahrefs MCP ChatGPT” setup show how to add Ahrefs’ server to those apps. In Manus, Ahrefs is already in Connectors: approve access once, ask in a chat and the task runs in the cloud.
Yes. The Ahrefs Claude connector and the Ahrefs ChatGPT integration link those apps to the same Ahrefs MCP server, and Manus links to it from its own Connectors. The data and the API units come from the same Ahrefs account.
Yes. Open Connectors in Manus, select Ahrefs and choose Disconnect. The API key for this connection is listed in the API keys report in your Ahrefs account, where workspace admins manage keys.
