Manus Campus Program Guidelines
Welcome to the Manus Campus Program!
Dear participant, welcome to the Manus Campus Program! This program provides academic institutions with early access to AI capabilities and research privileges, supporting the integration of AI with education.
By participating in this program, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the following guidelines. These guidelines, together with the Manus Platform Service Terms and Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement regarding your participation in the program. Manus reserves the right to update these guidelines at any time, with updates becoming effective immediately upon publication.
1. Program: The Manus Campus Program, providing enhanced AI access and research capabilities to academic institutions
2. Participant: Any eligible individual participating in the program, including students, alumni, and staff of qualifying academic institutions
3. Referrer: A participant who refers another eligible individual to the program
4. Referee: An individual who is referred to the program by a referrer
5. Credits: Reward units earned through program participation, usable according to Manus specifications
6. Swag: Promotional merchandise that may be offered to participants as part of the program
Who Can Participate?
You can participate in this program if you:
1. Are a current student, alumni, or staff member of a qualifying academic institution included in Manus' list of participating institutions
2. Are at least 18 years old
3. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Referral Rules
For a referral to be valid:
1. The referee must be a new user who has never previously registered with Manus under any email address or alias
2. The referee must complete the registration process through the provided referral link
3. The referee must meet the participation eligibility requirements listed above
4. Self-referrals are prohibited (the referrer and referee cannot be the same person)
Account Activation
Eligible members of participating academic institutions (students, alumni, and staff) can activate their accounts directly without requiring an invitation code. Identity verification with the academic institution may be required during activation.
Referral Process
Participants can refer eligible individuals through the following process:
1. Referrals must be submitted through the designated referral link provided by Manus
2. Each participant will receive a unique referral link that must be used for all referrals
3. Referrals received through any other method will not qualify for credits or rewards
4. Bulk distribution of referral links is permitted, but must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to anti-spam laws
Credits System
1. Both the referrer and referee from the same academic institution will receive credits when a referral is successfully completed
2. Credits are awarded only when the referee is a new user who completes the registration process
3. The number of credits awarded may vary based on program needs, with Manus reserving the right to adjust at its discretion
4. Credits have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
Promotional Merchandise
1. Manus may offer promotional merchandise ("swag") to eligible participants as part of the program
2. Swag availability is subject to inventory limitations and may decrease over time
3. Manus reserves the right to adjust or discontinue swag distribution at any time without prior notice
4. Due to logistical and regional restrictions, swag may not be available to all participants and is limited to regions supported by the swag claim page
5. Participants are responsible for any taxes or duties that may apply to received swag, as required by applicable law
General Restrictions
1. Manus reserves the right to monitor program participation and take appropriate action against any suspicious or fraudulent activities
2. Participants must not engage in activities that violate these guidelines, the Platform Service Terms, or any applicable laws and regulations
3. Manus reserves the right to disqualify any participant from the program for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these guidelines
Relationship with Academic Institutions
1. This program does not necessarily establish formal partnerships with all academic institutions
2. If an academic institution requests that Manus suspend the program for their institution, Manus reserves the right to do so immediately without prior notice
3. Manus makes no representations or warranties regarding any affiliation with or endorsement by participating academic institutions
Program Adjustments and Termination
To ensure smooth operation and optimal resource allocation, Manus may need to make adjustments to the program. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program or any part thereof at any time, including but not limited to:
1. Changing credit values or reward structures
2. Adjusting eligibility requirements
3. Modifying the referral process and mechanisms
4. Adjusting program timing and scope based on operational needs
This program will continue until Manus decides to terminate it. Manus may terminate the program or your participation in the program at any time for any reason, without prior notice. If your participation is terminated, any unused credits may be canceled at Manus' discretion. While we strive to avoid such situations, we reserve the right to take these measures when necessary to maintain program integrity.
We strive to ensure this program runs smoothly, but you should understand that the program is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Manus cannot be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
1. Issues you may encounter while participating in this program
2. Any unauthorized access to our systems or your personal information
3. Service interruptions or temporary unavailability
These disclaimers exist to protect the legitimate interests of all participants and Manus, ensuring the program can develop healthily over the long term.
